Last year around this time, a slice of rock history went down at this fair, hot city’s beloved outpost, Good Records. As part of a promotion for Alice Cooper bassist, Dennis Dunaway’s memoir Snakes! Guillotines! Electric Chairs!, the AC band reunited for a few kick-ass numbers, playing to a startled, wall-to-wall crowd of music lovers.
Alice Cooper fans who were either in or out of the room at the time, can embrace the experience when Good Records/Think Indie release, Alice Cooper, Live From The Astroturf on Record Store Day Black Friday, otherwise known as November 25th.
The 2-song 7” package will be exclusive to record stores and is set to feature “Eighteen” and “Body,” both performed on October 6, 2015 by Cooper, Dunaway, Michael Bruce (guitar/vox) and Neal Smith on drums, along with Chuck Garric (harmonica) and Ryan Roxie (guitar/vox), taking the torch from late guitarist, Glen Buxton to whom this release is dedicated. Buxton was considered to be one of greatest rock guitarist of all time and was posthumously inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2011 as part of AC’s band.
This deluxe packaging features colored vinyl, shrink-wrapped gatefold foil-board jacket with hype sticker, metallic ink stamped numbered, six bonus 5×7 double-sided art prints, printed inner sleeve and double sided credits insert. Limited to 2500 copies.
